Garden Room Case Study December 2017

Our client requested a external building that would accommodate an internal office, along with a hot tub area.

The customer sent a brief sketch/description of what was required along with measurements.  Bridge Garden Rooms manufactured a stunning building to the client’s exact requirements.

The overall building size was 5m x 3.5m, internally the office measured 2.2m x 3.3m with the external area of 2.6m x 4.1m.  The structure was manufactured with a 600mm overhang to match the 600mm Thermowood decking area to the front elevation.

The design the customer chose was a Derwent Garden room, this consists of a Trespa side panel to the side elevation, giving it a modern appeal.

The building was externally clad with Western Red Cedar to all elevations, include the internal section of the outdoor area.

The building was manufactured using SIP Panels (Structural Insulated Panels) we use 100mm panels in the floor and walls with 150mm panels for roof insulation.

All windows and doors are manufactured in UPVC and finished in our standard colour of Anthracite grey.

Internal flooring to the office would be commercial grade laminate flooring. Complete with skirting board.

The electrical package consists of LED down lights, power sockets and heater which the client upgraded to brushed aluminium for the internal office.

Foundations were included for this garden room, with Helicoil system used.

A simply stunning building.
